Brownell did an excellent job booking a hotel stay at the Mandarin Oriental in Washington, D.C. for my son and me. They connected us with the wonderful concierge service there who was able to book us a lunch we were unable to get otherwise, as well as tickets to Lincoln's Summer Cottage. Brownell's Virtuoso perks included a food/spa credit in addition to breakfast each morning at the MO restaurant downstairs or continental in-room dining. What a treat! Would recommend Brownell again, even for a straight-forward, domestic hotel booking!

Martha Gaughen of Brownell Travel exceeded our expectations for our first time traveling to Japan. All of the details came together seamlessly and the level of service we received in Japan was exceptional- above and beyond what we could have imagined. The land package, while an investment, was worth every penny for the quality of the overall experience. Martha prepared us so well for what to expect as first time travelers to Japan. The process of getting prepared was far less intimidating than it would have been otherwise. Can’t wait to book future travel with her.

Even though I’m in Australia, I’ve been booking my hotel stays with the USA-based Brownell Travel as one team member, Deborah Barth is a real star. I had booked with Deborah / Brownell based on a google search years ago and found her incredibly proactive and willing to assist me with the many questions plus requests I had. I booked again a few months ago but had to cancel due to Covid restrictions. Again, Deborah was happy to assist with no questions asked. I may be on the other side of the world and in a completely different Timezone but she’s still so responsive and speedy and accomodating. Highly recommended from me.

Sherrie Coffey and team planned the perfect mother/daughter vacation to Italy! She listened to our wishes and developed a fabulous itinerary. The trip went without a hitch! Sherrie exceeded our expectations! I will definitely use her and her agency again.

Brownell planned a special birthday trip and booked a hotel for a business trip, and my Advisor took each trip to the next level. Brownell is one of the most professional companies I have ever worked with, and their knowledge and industry relationships cannot be beat. Highlights from my birthday trip in Chicago include an upgraded room at The Peninsula and a chilled bottle of champagne and cake waiting when I arrived. When I returned to Chicago for business a few month later, I didn't expect much from a simple hotel booking, but I was wrong. Brownell is a Four Seasons Preferred Partner, and I was upgraded to a gorgeous 1-bedroom suite with a sweeping view of Lake Michigan. Plus in both hotels I had access to Virtuoso amenities and was treated like a VIP! If you need a hotel booking or are planning a big trip, Brownell is the agency to use!

Sherrie Coffey and Brownell made our recent trip to Italy wonderful! She and her staff were extremely knowledgable and thorough. They took care of all the details for a fairly complex itinerary, involving five destinations with multiple departures by plane, train, boat and auto. It was seamless! We live in Washington State and book all of our big trips with these guys Sherrie and the team are amazing and have always been a huge help to us! Their status at multiple different hotel chains also makes for incredible perks and sometimes even room upgrades!

We are working with Brittany Anderson and Bowden Sarrett to book our Hawaii honeymoon and cannot say enough great things about them! Brittany's attention to detail, responsiveness, and ability to field our never-ending questions with patience is so appreciated. Her customer service and knowledge are top notch. We are so excited about the fantastic trip Brittany and Bowden have helped us design and would recommend them to anyone looking to book a dream honeymoon! EDITED July 2025 - We returned from our honeymoon and every little detail was so seamless. Brittany nailed the trip of a lifetime for us, and her thoughtful touches were present at every stop. Brownell was a pleasure to work with and did a great job planning our Iceland trip. Deborah Barth and Sam Holloway were responsive and efficient in handling our requests and any issues we had. Only a minor issue during trip that was ultimately reconciled. We had an amazing adventure that was planned seamlessly. Thank you Deborah and Sam for all your work!
